Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and applies to all purchases made on the Bhashafy platform (“Platform”) at bhashafy.com. By making a purchase on this Platform, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

2. No Refund Policy

All purchases of digital course content on Bhashafy are final and non-refundable. Once a payment has been successfully processed and access to the course has been granted, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with course content.
  • Inability to access the Platform due to the user's technical limitations or internet connectivity.
  • Failure to complete the course.
  • Accidental purchase.

We strongly encourage you to review the course description, curriculum, and any available free preview content before making a purchase.

3. Nature of Digital Goods

Bhashafy sells digital educational content. Under Section 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable e-commerce rules, digital goods that have been accessed or downloaded may be exempt from standard return and refund provisions. By purchasing and accessing course content on this Platform, you acknowledge this exemption applies.

4. Payment Failure and Gateway Errors

Payments on Bhashafy are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. Bhashafy has no control over payment processing errors, failed transactions, or technical issues that occur within Razorpay's infrastructure.

In the following scenarios, please contact Razorpay directly:

  • Amount was deducted but no purchase confirmation was received.
  • Duplicate or double charge for the same transaction.
  • Payment failed but amount was debited from your account.

For such cases, Razorpay's standard dispute resolution process will apply. Razorpay’s automated system reconciles such dropped transactions regularly. The deducted amount will automatically be refunded to your original payment method (bank account, credit card, or UPI) within 5 to 7 business days. You may contact Razorpay support for any queries related to this process.

5. Course Access Issues

If you have successfully paid but are experiencing technical issues accessing your course, please contact us at learn@bhashafy.com within 7 days of purchase. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue and restore your access. Access issues do not entitle you to a refund but we are committed to ensuring you receive what you paid for.

6. Cancellation of Subscription or Access

Bhashafy currently offers one-time lifetime access to courses and does not offer subscription-based plans. There is therefore no cancellation mechanism applicable to existing purchases.

7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.
